Homeschooler Killed–Please Support the Family
Oct 1st, 2008 | By Jessica Parnell | Category: General Homeschool PostsPlease act now to support a homeschool family after the senseless killing of their precious daughter. Post your encouraging note at http://newlumps.blogspot.com/ in the comments section.
This is a difficult post to write. In fact, every time I approach this, I struggle with grief and anger and a realization that nothing can prepare us for the tragedies that life offers.
On Sunday, Emily, a homeschool teen and pastor’s daughter in Edson, Alberta was senselessly killed. Emily was a delightful 14 year old girl with a passion for music, for serving the Lord and for her church and community.
Her family needs your prayers and your support! Please take a moment to pray for them and to drop them a quick note of encouragement and support.
This is the time for our homeschool community to band together to support one of its own.
You can learn more and offer words of encouragement by visiting her father’s blog at http://newlumps.blogspot.com/
And please do not forget to lift them up in fervent prayer.
