Homeschoolers-Freedom Matters-Please Vote!

Attached is a letter sent to me by the American Family Association.  I know not all homeschoolers are conservative, but we all want the freedom to continue homeschooling.

That is why I thought Donald Wildmon’s letter was important enough to post here!

Homeschoolers–protect your freedom to homeschool.  Get out and vote this November!

Homeschool Recognition Growing–It Works

Homeschooling–You Can Do It!

I often speak with parents who are convinced that they are unable to homeschool. Whether it is because they are afraid of the academics or sure their personality is not a good match, they all say the same thing: “I just don’t think I can do it!”

This blogger was once one of those fearful parents, and she has done an outstanding job of capturing the many reasons why parents are unsure that they can homeschool.

Democrats Against Homechoolers?

I know that Mark Warner does not speak for every Democrat, but his recent speech at a Democratic Party event made me want to sit up and take notice.

In his speech, Warner accused pro-lifers, homeschoolers, and members of the National Rifle Association, as threatening to “what it means to be an American.”

This is a difficult post to write.  In fact, every time I approach this, I struggle with grief and anger and a realization that nothing can prepare us for the tragedies that life offers.
