Homeschooling on the Road-Summer School 2009
My husband and I decided to take our kids on a road trip this year to give them an up close look at the history and beauty of the west. We plan to cover ground from Colorado to Wyoming to Idaho to Utah to Arizona and finally California. See all of the posts about the trip here.

Another Reason to Homeschool-Flu Shot Mandated in New JerseyDid you know that his month a New Jersey state law went into effect that requires mandatory flu vaccinations for children who attend licensed pre-school and child care centers?
In other words, if you want your child to attend pre-school, you must first get him a flu shot. And kids who don’t get the shot will be banned from attending classes unless parents can prove that their child will receive the shot within two weeks of the law’s deadline.

Homeschooling-Teacher or Coach?
When to be a teacher and when to be a coach is sometimes a challenging decision.
